Lajos Lencses studied at the Music Academy of Budapest, at the National Superior Conservatory of Music with Pierre Pierlot, has been awarded the prize of Geneva in 1968 and is oboe soloist at the Philharmonia Hungarica from 1967 – 1971, then principal oboe at the Symphonic Radio orchestra of Stuttgart since 1971. As a professor and oboe soloist, M Lencses is invited all over the world (Europe, USA, Asia) and is always an appreciated partner for famous musicians as Sergiu Celibidache, Karl Münchinger, Sir Neville Marriner, Christophe Eschenbach, Jean-Pierre Rampal.
