Marigaux oboe 910
After graduated from Bunka Gakuin High School in Tokyo, entered The Bazel Conservatory in Switzerland. Learned oboe from Andre LARDROT, and chamber music from G. Vis.
While in school, served as principal oboist of Basel Symphinietta, and played with Sinfonieorchester Basel. After graduation, became a lecturer of his alma mater.
In 1986 he joined Hildesheim Opera Orchestra. And at the same time was a member of Da Camera, the wind quintet, and played in many European cities.
Returned to Japan in 1990, and now principal oboist of Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. And teaches part-time at Kunitachi College of Music as well as at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music.
Plays actively and regularly as a member of Ensemble Konsonanz which was founded in Switzerland with Maki KUSAKARI (clarinet) and Masao OSAWA (fagot). And other activities include playing chamber music on FM radios and at Music Festivals in various cities in Japan.
He is a student of Shiro TAKAHASHI and Yuji SAITO.
