Nora Cismondi
Marigaux Oboe
As first nominated when she was 15, Nora Cismondi joint up the lessons of David Walter, J.L. Capezzali and Jacques Tys at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique of Paris, where she was graduated before starting an additional cycle with Maurice Bourgue. Nora Cismondi won various international contests : the Printemps de Prague (Prague Spring festival) in 2000, Petritoli in 2001, Toulon in 2002, the ARD contest (Munich, GErmany) in 2003 as well as the Sony Music Foundation in Tokyo in 2006 and is today the regular guest soloist in orchestras like the Munich Chamber Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Auvergne, the Bâle Camerata and also the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra with whom she recorded the concerto of B.A. Zimmermann. At the MIDEM in Cannes, she is named revelation of the year in 2003. Two seasons later, promoted oboe soloist at the Orchestre National de France, she appears as one of the ''most brillant artists of the moment'' (magazine Le Monde de la Musique, july-august, 2005). After receiving her last graduation, Nora joins the educational crew at the CNR Aubervilliers-La Courneuve in 2006. To come out soon : her new disk, Mozart's concert symphony K 297b, with the contribution of the Prague Chamber Orchestra.
