Marika Lombardi
Marigaux oboe
Italian oboist, Marika Lombardi studied at the Conservatory of Milan, graduating in 1988 in oboe and chamber music with Sergio Possidoni. In that same year, after successful outset in Milan’s Società dei Concerti, she moved to Paris where she followed advanced studies in several Conservatories and obtained three additional diplomas in oboe and chamber music. She studied under the guidance of renowned musicians such as Pierre Pierlot, Maurice Bourgue, Ingo Goritzki, Lothar Koch, Diego Dini Ciacci and Sergiu Celibidache. As the winner of various international competitions for oboe and chamber music, she carries out an intense concert activity throughout Europe. Since 1992 she has taught in Paris Conservatories and held master classes in France and Italy. Since 2000, Marika Lombardi helds the place of artistic director at the International Music Academy in Lasino (Trento, Italy) as well as for the oboe festival in Paris. Marika Lombardi teaches oboe in Paris since 1992, at the Scatola Cantorum, the state music school of Paris, at the national music schoolof Pantin and finally at the Chantilly music school.
